My dog is a terrior mix and she is very kind and loving around the family and other people she knows. But when she sees a stranger she feels the need to attack and bite especially when they enter our house. Can anyone help me with this problem?
this problem with my dog started when she lost one of her eyes due to a hit and run.

Whenever a stranger walks by her give her chicken or a treat after a while she will think that strangers are good.Then just get closer and closer to your house. and she’ll get better. Good luck
Well, Whenever a dog is aggressive toward other dogs or people its a sign meaning it feels frightened. Since all this aggressiveness happened after loosing her eye, i bet she feels more cautious. You need to help your dog understand that those people ( or dog ) is not a threat to your family. Try to give the guest a treat/biscut to the dog to be friendly. You could also do a training class for the biting.
