I have a problem with my dog jumping up on people?

My dog gets excited when she sees people and jumps up on them. I have tried everything to get her to stop. I have tried putting my knee in her chest, pushing her down with my hands and saying NO, holding and squeezing her paws and putting her down and saying NO. I have even tried a pinch collar and holding her back so she can’t go anywhere until she settles. I have tried ignoring her. Nothing seems to work. I have also tried a choke chain and a harness. Everyone who comes ignores her or squeezes her paws and says no. I am on disability and cannot afford obedience classes for her. She knows that I am the boss and listens to everything else but this.
My dog loves water, so the squirt bottle is out. I also have tried the treat in the hand. I have tried just about everything I can think of.

My cats usually respond well to loaded squirt gun recently discovered poof of air not in the face from compressed can makes them run away too.

Seem as if we are having the same problem. I have a Pitbull puppy she does the same thing. Don’t get me wrong I love that she nice to people and other animals but the only thing that scare me is that someone taking off with her. She won’t even know the person and she will just run up to the person and jump and kiss them. I yell like Hey come here..And she playing around jumping I gave her a spankin and she seem to stop or when I see that she spotted a person I tell her No! And she stops ….I am still working on it with her.

The trainers there they wander around and give tips for free dont understand why you got the same one again 20 minutes later and shoot down all the suggestions that are being made didnt you ask question and shoot down all the suggestions.

For one of my dogs who had that worked for one thing that worked for one thing that way it is to put about tablespoon of water smell bad and taste bad but wont hurt the 1620 oz spray bottle it will make the water smell.
