I have a red ant problem, but dont want to harm my dog. What can I use to get rid of them?

Ive tried cinnamon, cayenne pepper, and salt which Ive heard will keep them away. As well as windex, which none of them worked. Ive also tried the cream of wheat, which didn’t work either.
